1. What PARED Is

PARED is an introduction platform that connects independent chefs ("Chefs") with hospitality venues ("Venues") for the purposes of residencies, pop-ups, private dining, guest chef arrangements, and related collaborations (each an "Opportunity").

PARED's role is limited to introducing Chefs and Venues to one another. PARED is not a party to any agreement, booking, contract, or arrangement made between a Chef and a Venue. Any such agreement is made directly and solely between the Chef and the Venue involved.

2. PARED Is Not an Employer

PARED does not employ, engage, or contract Chefs or Venues in any capacity. PARED is not responsible for payroll, tax, National Insurance, pension contributions, or any employment rights or obligations arising from any arrangement between a Chef and a Venue. Chefs and Venues are solely responsible for determining and complying with the correct employment, tax, and legal status of their arrangement with one another.

3. No Guarantee of Suitability

While PARED takes reasonable steps to review profiles submitted by Chefs and Venues, PARED does not vet, inspect, audit, or otherwise verify the accuracy of any information provided, and does not guarantee:

the quality, safety, or suitability of any Chef, Venue, or Opportunity;
that any Chef or Venue holds the qualifications, licences, insurance, or compliance documentation they claim to hold;
that any introduction will result in a successful or satisfactory arrangement.

Chefs and Venues are responsible for carrying out their own due diligence before entering into any arrangement with one another.

4. Responsibilities of Chefs

Each Chef using PARED confirms that they:

hold any food hygiene certification or training required by law, or reasonably required for the services they provide;
hold insurance appropriate to, and where legally required for, their activity;
are responsible for their own tax, legal, and regulatory obligations as a self-employed individual or business; and
have provided accurate, up-to-date information in their PARED profile.

PARED does not verify food hygiene qualifications, inspect food preparation practices, or confirm insurance coverage.

5. Responsibilities of Venues

Each Venue using PARED confirms that they:

hold all relevant licences, permits, and insurance required to operate their premises and to host a visiting Chef;
are responsible for the food safety and hygiene standards of their premises;
are responsible for ensuring their own compliance with any applicable food hygiene rating requirements; and
have provided accurate, up-to-date information in their PARED profile.

6. Payments

PARED is not responsible for any payments, deposits, invoices, cancellations, refunds, or disputes arising between a Chef and a Venue. All financial arrangements are agreed directly between the Chef and the Venue, and PARED is not a party to them.

7. Right to Refuse or Remove

PARED may, at its discretion, refuse to publish, suspend, or remove any Chef or Venue profile — including where information appears inaccurate, incomplete, or where PARED reasonably considers that use of the platform could expose PARED, other users, or the public to risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PARED accepts no liability for any loss, damage, illness, injury, dispute, or other harm arising from or in connection with:

any arrangement, booking, or agreement entered into between a Chef and a Venue;
the conduct, actions, or omissions of any Chef or Venue;
any inaccurate information provided by a Chef or Venue in their profile or enquiry.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9. How We Use Your Information

Information submitted through PARED's chef, venue, and enquiry forms is used solely to facilitate introductions between Chefs and Venues, and is reviewed manually before being acted upon. 10. Changes to These Terms

PARED may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of PARED after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
